“BOGL is a ninja, DJ and music enthusiast originally from Las Vegas, NV. With his parties, Soundpieces, Bogl has been able to host and play alongside current left-field artists from around the world in San Francisco and beyond for years. His charisma is like that of a friendly ghost; he is kept close to your heart as one would a godfather, while basically existing as an untouchable phenomenon. He’s become known for appearing out of what seems like thin air to play an eclectic selection of bass heavy productions, take you to an unfathomable dimension, then suddenly vanishing to another far off place. It make us wonder how it’s even possible for Bogl to exist.

“His career has taken him literally all over the globe touring alongside artists such as Diplo and Truth, he’s been a resident at Symbiosis Gathering and performing Outlook, Shambhala, and BassCoast festival several times among others, and makes frequent stops anywhere from Asia, to Europe, to Canada. With his career as a DJ nearing ten years, Bogl is moving forward to release secret production projects with fellow bass music artists, while leading the rapid expansion of Soundpieces that already has a long-term established legacy of blowing minds with their “good fortune” music experiences.”

“The year is 3025, Earth as we know it a distant memory. Our tiny dismal planet in a state of ruin, Earth’s top aeronautic and interstellar scientists work feverishly on a scheme to a save humanity as greed, chaos and violence has consumed the very place we call home. The only hope we have left is to find a new home, a new place to thrive peacefully away from the decay that has become of our beloved planet.
This is the story of the starship “Great Red Cypress” an interstellar frigate containing the very seeds to create life elsewhere, piloted by it’s captain, Lawrence Francis Ogre, we start our voyage on the outer orbit of what was once Earth, Our beloved captain sends one last message to the one he loves before crawling into his cryo tube preparing for 100 years of sleep while traveling at the speed of light. This is the story Of A Great Red Cypress.”

“Producer / Percussionist

General Contact: tsimba.contact@gmail.com
tsimba is the alias adopted by bass music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Mark Evans Musto based out of Brooklyn, NY, originally from Wallingford, CT. When it comes to artistic authenticity and ingenuity, tsimba sets the bar extremely high with his hard-hitting, genre-defying production and mind-melting DJ sets. Turning heads across the country with his ‘Future Roots Sound’, tsimba is undoubtedly building a reputation as one of the most dynamic, exciting artists in the mid-tempo/heavy bass scene. His background as a percussionist fuels his ability to build songs around complex, out-of-the-box percussion rhythms, while simultaneously drawing on inspiration from both western and eastern traditional music to create his distinctive sound. Remaining indifferent toward fads and what others are doing, tsimba is a genuine trailblazer in the realms of bass music, continually pushing the envelope. His mission is to not only create music that people will love, but to inspire and create an art form that celebrates all aspects of rhythm.”

“Welcome to the mixtape. These words woven from old ideas & new perspectives are not something I came to alone. I’m blessed to be in community with some next-level magickal individuals. Much of what motivates me to make & share music is the abundance of inspiring conversations & ideas condensing from the unique atmosphere in our Appalachian holler.

Amidst mass media fear-mongering, I don’t believe I’m alone in hungering for authenticity, revolutionary conversation & solution-oriented ideas. I felt called to export some of these rare tropical fruits of thought & perspective to contribute my small part to the larger conversation.

Evolution is the topic. How are we going to adapt to all the ways things are changing? This mixtape is a freely given gift to hip hop culture which has given me so much, and anyone who desires to live in a more beautiful & harmonious world.” ~Numinous the Bard

“Orlando-based rapper/singer E-Turn will release her third full-length, Young World, this fall on Fake Four Inc. Backed by the soulful, melodic boom bap of Swamburger (Solillaquists of Sound), E-Turn utilizes a multitude of deliveries and croons to issue a call to arms against the maladies of modernity.

The title of the album refers to how in the grand scheme of history, life as we currently know it is extremely young. Hip hop is young, too. While early returns of the digital age are awash with tales of rampant greed, cruelty, and alienation, E-Turn expresses hope that the tools at our disposal can be used for the greater good of humanity. And hip hop, at its best, can play its part. Entertainment helps us forget ourselves. Art helps us remember ourselves.”

“Special thanks to every brethren and sistern from around the world that are featured on this album. Special thanks to Amos The Ancient Prophet for making this happen. And many blessings to all my brothers and sisters from our mother earth. Let love and happiness continue to fall upon you always.”

“Swordplay: “Dear George, this is the first album I have made for you, written in your name. Initially, I planned to call it Mythology, after a comment Rick made just before your funeral. That is, these ceremonies we hold to celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost, they are the first opportunities we have at building the mythology of our loved ones. That idea resonated with me then, as it still does, because death is transformative in ways that are unknown and defy biographical story-telling. We know you will always be more than the awards on your resume, or a mere recitation of the facts. Perhaps you are the clouds passing over Moscow as France takes Croatia in the 2018 World Cup on the day you left us. Or maybe you are the entire sky now. Through music and prose, I believe, all is possible. Even resurrection.

2018 was a nasty year for many of us. When Ceschi asked me if I could do an album for Freecember, I thought of all the collective loss built up in our shared community, and how enmeshed we are in our grief. As I write this, with the end of the holiday season almost in sight, I imagine I am not alone in my loneliness. Although this is your album, I wanted to make it for all of us. All of us who, like Ram Dass said, are just walking each other home. I think you would want it that way.
For the King, the Wizard, and the G, George Griffin Ramsey, May 16, 1988 — July 15, 2018”

“As an openly queer rapper, Texas’ Chris Conde combines the classically detached spheres of hip hop, indie rock and avant-garde experimental art punk of the drag variety. In their sometimes hysterical but always poignant bars, Conde strives to relate to their audience through an honest communication of their personal narrative of overcoming drug addiction, internalized homophobia and self-acceptance.”

“Five years after releasing Return of the Astro-Goth, Yugen Blakrok descends from the vast cosmos and delivers to the world an impressive lesson in style, with her second album Anima Mysterium. Far from the stars but heavy with their radiant wisdom; it’s towards Earth, humanity and the obscurity at its core that the South African rapper directs her incantations.
Accompanied by Kanif the Jhatmaster’s beats, Yugen’s flow sows the frontiers of a world where the subconscious frees itself and confronts man with his most hidden secrets. Yugen’s poetry has something Ovidian, depicting her as an agent of Metamorphosis, a reincarnated goddess in terrestrial form calling humanity to itself.

“Why in the deepest darkness my soul beams like a lantern, Engineered in female form…silent carrier of the force, I’m a sandstorm in desert dunes, a shadow with a torch” Land of Gray, Yugen Blakrok”
